Our legionnaires in Iran and the UAE ended the week with a bang

Today, it is noticeable that the number of Uzbek footballers playing in foreign championships is increasing. Almost every week, someone scores a goal, someone makes an assist, and someone is remembered for “giving the game away” to his team. So, how did the past week go for our legionnaires?
Events in Iran
Currently, 5 of our legionnaires are playing in the Iranian championship. Igor Sergeev, who moved to Persepolis in the winter transfer window, started scoring goals for his new team. He scored a beautiful shot against the goal of Gol Gohar, but in the end his team lost 1:3.
Oston Urunov was not included in the roster for this match. The club is currently in 5th place in the tournament table with 34 points.
Also, due to the participation of Rustam Ashurmatov and Jaloliddin Masharipov, who play for "Istiklol", as well as Odil Hamrobekov, who plays for "Tractor", in the Elite Asian Champions League, the 21st round matches of the Iranian championship were postponed. That is, this week, the international arena became the priority for some of our legionnaires, not the domestic championship.
Round in the UAE: full 90 minutes and a draw
Our legionnaires also played their next round matches in the UAE championship. "Al-Batayeh" drew with "Al-Dafra" with a score of 1:1 in the match, in which Aziz Ganiev played in the main squad. Our compatriot played the full 90 minutes and maintained stability on the field.
Otabek Shukurov, who plays for Baniyas, will play his match on February 22 - so the calculations are still ahead.
The bottom line is: our legionnaires have shown themselves in various championships for another week - some with goals, some with full games, and some with "missing" the tour due to their team's international obligations. Now the most important thing is not to lose this momentum: because where there is form, there is neither news nor goals.
