Al Ahly forward Hamza Abdelkarim will continue his career at Barcelona. According to journalist Fernando Polo, the parties have already finalized the deal. This is reported by euro-football.ru reports .
The 18-year-old will join the Blaugrana on loan. The agreement also includes a €3 million purchase option. The Egyptian talent will undergo a medical in the coming days, after which the transfer will be officially confirmed.
Barcelona’s intention to sign the young Egyptian prospect was mentioned several months ago. Abdelkarim has made 9 appearances for Cairo’s Al Ahly, without registering a goal or an assist so far. However, for Egypt’s U-17 national team he has scored 12 goals and provided 6 assists in 19 matches.
