Al-Nassr Secures Hard-Fought Victory Despite Ronaldo's Missed Penalty

In a Saudi Arabian league match on Saturday, Al-Feiha and Al-Nassr clashed. The Riyadh club, currently leading the tournament, narrowly secured three points away from home despite numerous difficult situations. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports. .
At the beginning of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo took a penalty but the ball hit the left post from below and went out of play. However, at the end of the first half, the hosts unexpectedly took the lead: a cross from the right wing was deflected into the near corner by their own defender, Abdulela al-Amri, as the goalkeeper came out to catch it – 1:0.
In the second half, Al-Nassr increased the pressure. Joao Felix's shot from inside the penalty area was blocked by defenders, and Ronaldo’s follow-up attempt from around 15 meters was saved by the goalkeeper. The score was equalized in the 72nd minute: after a long pass from Sultan al-Ghanam, Kingsley Coman entered the penalty area and delivered an assist, which Sadio Mane calmly finished – 1:1.
After that, Al-Nassr had several good opportunities, but they didn't immediately succeed in scoring: Ayman Yahya failed to beat the goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation, and Coman’s long-range shot was also saved by the keeper. In the 80th minute, Marcelo Brozovic took a corner kick, the ball fell to Felix, and his shot from around 20 meters, which grazed the near post, went past the goalkeeper and into the goal – 1:2.
Al-Nassr put the final touch in the 85th minute: after a combination with Felix, Abdullah al-Hamdan received the ball inside the penalty area and scored an accurate shot from around 8 meters – 1:3.
As a result, Al-Feiha is currently sharing 11th place in the tournament standings. Al-Nassr, however, maintained its leadership and is 2 points ahead of its closest pursuer.
