Abduqodir Husanov’s speed astonished: Doku also admitted it

Uzbekistan national team defender Abduqodir Husanov is attracting strong interest today not only in our country but also on European pitches. His distinctive physical qualities, especially his speed, are increasingly drawing the attention of experts and fans.
The 22-year-old footballer is being mentioned among the quickest players in the English Premier League. In addition, he was also cited as the player who has shown the highest speed figures in the UEFA Champions League.
Interestingly, when asked who the fastest player at Manchester City is, the team’s attacking star Jeremy Doku singled out Husanov.
“The fastest is Husanov. Everyone knows that. I think I have the advantage over 15 meters. I am confident in that. But over a 40-meter run, I think Abduqodir would win,” Doku said.
There is another interesting detail here: earlier, when the same question was put to Husanov himself, he modestly named Doku as the faster one. This further clearly shows the mutual respect and professional relationship between the two footballers.
At the moment, both players are playing important roles in Manchester City’s successes this season. Husanov has become a reliable pillar in defense, while Doku is bringing speed and creativity to the team in attack.
Looking at the statistics, the Uzbek footballer has featured in 33 matches across all competitions, starting most of them. Doku has played in 40 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 13 assists.
The most interesting part is still ahead. Both footballers will take part in the World Cup after the season. Uzbekistan will compete in Group K against Portugal, Colombia and DR Congo, while Belgium will face Egypt, Iran and New Zealand in Group G.
In short, Husanov is not just a fast footballer, but a star who will fly even higher on the world stage in the future. And by now, opponents have already understood one thing: he is not easy to catch.
