According to insiders, Apple may enter the relatively budget segment for the first time: the company is testing a laptop model estimated at around $600. The lower price is expected to be achieved by using the A18 Pro mobile chip instead of the M-series processors found in current MacBooks. The new device is intended for studying, working with documents, and everyday tasks.
Also, closer to the end of the year, Apple may unveil its first smart glasses featuring a camera, a microphone, and Siri-based voice control support.
Samsung and Google will focus in 2026 on advancing wearables designed to track health metrics. Galaxy Watch is expected to gain features that help detect the risk of heart failure early, while Pixel Watch will include tools to assess the likelihood of rising blood pressure in advance.
In addition, Samsung is preparing the second generation of the Galaxy Ring smart ring with an updated design and longer battery life.
Yandex is also planning to enter the wearables market: the company is working on “smart” earbuds with an integrated AI assistant. They are said to enable everyday actions—from making reservations to shopping—even without a smartphone.
