A number of important changes are being made to the admission process to state higher education institutions and professional educational institutions in Uzbekistan. In order to increase the selection opportunities of applicants and ensure transparency, entrance exams will be organized based on a new system starting this year.
In accordance with the government resolution, admission to all state higher education and professional educational institutions will now be carried out on the basis of the principle of "first test, then selection". This is aimed at creating more convenient and fair conditions for applicants during the examination process.
Starting this year, applicants will take part in a single test exam and, based on their results, will have the opportunity to participate in the selection process for admission to undergraduate programs of higher education institutions, and then to professional educational institutions.
The admission process will be carried out in two clearly defined stages:
In the first stage, all applicants will register online from June 5 to June 25 (including on June 25) each year. In this case, they determine the set of subjects for which they will take the test, the region where the tests will be held, the language of instruction, and if there is a professional (creative) exam in the chosen direction, the state higher education institution where these exams will be taken.
In the second stage, after the test results are fully announced, applicants will have to choose a higher education institution, bachelor's degree program, and form of education within 15 days. If an applicant does not clearly determine the educational institution, program, and form of education in the second stage, he will not be included in the final selection process.
Also, applicants who want to enter professional educational institutions will have to determine the professional educational institution, profession, specialty, and form of education within 10 days after the final results of admission to higher education institutions are announced.
The new system, while ensuring fairness, transparency, and openness in the admission process, provides applicants with a wide choice. At the same time, this system will further strengthen discipline in admission to state educational institutions and increase young people's interest in studying.
It is important for each applicant to familiarize themselves with these changes, carefully study the admission conditions and requirements. Do not forget that the effective use of new opportunities in the educational process is in your hands. We hope that these changes will open a wide path for you to take the first steps towards successful student life. Good luck! Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
