Geology center to be opened in cooperation with Colorado School of Mines

A center for modern geology competencies is planned to be established in Uzbekistan. This project will be implemented with the support of foreign partners, including the Colorado School of Mines in the USA. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed and supported the project. The center will integrate scientific research and practical work. Its main task is to introduce digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and aero-geophysics methods for rapid exploration of new deposits. It is also planned to analyze digital data, integrate geochemical and cosmo-geological research, and expand regional geological exploration work.
