Residents of Tashkent region warned

The Hydrometeorological Service urged residents of the Tashkent region to exercise caution. According to experts, as a result of a sharp change in air temperature on November 5-7, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the region - Bostanlyk, Akhangaran, and Parkent districts, in particular, in the Chatkal Range.

Citizens, vacationers, and drivers traveling on mountain roads are advised to take precautions and avoid dangerous areas. It was emphasized that special caution is necessary when driving around mountain roads and recreation areas.

Officials noted that the risk of avalanches is especially dangerous in the morning and evening hours, as rapid temperature fluctuations cause instability of snow layers.

As a reminder, starting November 4th, temperatures across Uzbekistan have dropped sharply. Especially in mountainous areas, snowfall and strong winds were observed. According to the latest data from the Hydrometeorological Service, such unstable weather conditions could persist for several days.

Experts urge citizens to regularly monitor official weather data.
