Tashkent's Broadway area to be reconstructed with a modern look

One of Tashkent's most popular spots, the Sayilgoh Street area ("Broadway"), will undergo a comprehensive renovation. This was announced by the capital's city administration press service.
According to the project, pedestrian paths, crossings, lighting systems, and irrigation infrastructure will be rebuilt to meet modern standards. Security measures will also be strengthened, and video surveillance systems will be installed.
Signage and advertising will be regulated under a unified design, and illegally installed structures will be removed. Commercial activities will also be brought into compliance with established standards.
Officials emphasized that the unique creative atmosphere of the area will be preserved during the reconstruction. Conditions will be created for artists, musicians, and other creators to continue their work.
Furthermore, existing trees will be inspected under expert supervision, and there are plans to plant at least 1,000 additional trees and ornamental plants.
"Broadway" has long been a popular cultural and recreational destination for residents and visitors of the capital.
