Valve Releases CAD Files for Steam Controller

Valve has made the CAD files for the Steam Controller and Puck external housings available to users. As a reminder, all units of this gamepad sold out within just half an hour of its release on May 4, 2026. This is reported by Ixbt.com reports .
According to Valve's official statement, the topological surfaces of the device's external parts can be downloaded and used under a Creative Commons license. The package includes models in STP and STL formats, as well as technical drawings and the device's critical components and keep-out zones.
Company representatives are encouraging users to experiment with these files and create their own modifications. Valve is interested in seeing the creative approach of its fans.
The Steam Controller is Valve's second-generation gamepad. As a reminder, the first device in this series was introduced in 2015. The new Steam Controller is priced at 100 dollars or euros.
