The National Agency for Perspective Projects (NAPP) has suspended the license of the insurance company Global Insurance for a period of 6 months. This was announced on the official website of the agency.
The agency's decision came into effect on November 8. The company will continue to fulfill existing contracts but will not be able to sign new contracts or extend old ones.
In October, NAPP suspended Global Insurance's license for 10 days. Additionally, the company was fined 35 million UZS.
Last year, this insurance company was fined a total of 72 million UZS in August and April. In the rating of insurers published in 2023 by Kursiv Uzbekistan, Global Insurance ranked 27th in the "General Insurance" category.
At that time, the company’s assets amounted to 57 billion UZS. Global Insurance was established in April 2008.
As of November 10 of this year, the company’s authorized capital amounts to 35 billion UZS.
