
The Central Bank published a new report on the labor market: growth in income and remittances is observed.
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan presented an analysis of the economic situation and labor market in the country based on the results of the third quarter of 2025. According to him, positive dynamics continue in the level of incomes and employment of the population.
In the third quarter of this year, the nominal wage increased by 19.2 percent. Excluding the impact of inflation, the growth of real incomes of citizens amounted to 9.1 percent.
Currently, the average salary in the country is 6.2 million soums. Finance, insurance, and the ICT (IT) sector are leading as the highest-paid sectors.
The fastest growth in wages by region was observed in the following regions:
Samarkand region - 14.6%;
2. Syrdarya region - 11.1%;
3. Namangan region - 10.9 percent.
It is gratifying that the growth of real wages in Uzbekistan is significantly higher than the average in neighboring Central Asian countries. The stability of our national currency has brought the minimum wage to $103.
The number of vacancies in the labor market also increased by 3.3%. The largest number of employees are being sought in trade, catering, and industrial enterprises.
