Mirziyoyev welcomes Tokayev in Tashkent
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Tashkent on a state visit and was formally welcomed at the "Tashkent-Humo" International Airport. Tokayev became the first foreign head of state to visit this modern airport since its opening.

Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakh President Tokayev held their initial meeting at the airport. During the discussions, the two leaders addressed issues related to further developing the strategic partnership and alliance between their countries.

According to the visit's program, tomorrow, November 15, high-level talks and the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council are scheduled to take place.
