Number of Foreign Enterprises in Uzbekistan Doubles

As of November 1, the number of enterprises with foreign capital participation in Uzbekistan reached 17,500. Over the past five years, their number has almost doubled.

This was reported by the State Statistics Committee. Among foreign investments, the largest shares belong to companies from China and Russia.

A total of 4,700 enterprises are affiliated with China, while 3,100 are linked to Russia. Following them are companies from Turkey, Kazakhstan, and South Korea.

The majority of foreign companies are engaged in the trade sector. Additionally, significant shares are also observed in the industrial and construction sectors.
