A presidential decree aimed at further improving the mechanisms for preventing and combating corruption in the Republic of Uzbekistan has been adopted. In accordance with the document, modern digital solutions will be introduced in the industry, and systematic control will be strengthened.
According to the decree, the "Digital Compliance" information software complex will be launched on a trial basis from July 1, 2026. This platform will serve to coordinate anti-corruption measures, accelerate data exchange, and digitalize control processes.
In particular, within the framework of the program, an opportunity will be created for the rapid exchange of information between the participants of the Cluster for the Prevention of Corruption. Also, through the "E-Compliance" module, the activities of internal anti-corruption control units in state bodies and organizations will be fully digitized.
The decree also expanded the powers of the Anti-Corruption Agency. Now the agency will have the right to submit mandatory instructions and submissions to the internal control units of the central offices of state bodies and organizations on the prevention of offenses.
Special attention was paid to the issue of protecting individuals who report corruption cases. In order to protect such citizens from harassment and persecution at the workplace, the agency issues a special protection order.
At the same time, in order to encourage individuals who actively participate in the prevention and fight against corruption, a badge "For Contribution to the Fight Against Corruption" will be established.
These innovations are expected to serve to further increase openness, effectiveness, and public participation in the fight against corruption.
