Ahead of the New Year, Mashrab Street located in the Urikzor neighborhood of Andijan city was fully реконstructed and opened with a renewed look. It will now operate as a gastronomic, tourist, and trade-and-service street running 24 hours a day. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.
A total of 12 billion soums in investment was allocated to implement the project. Along the street, 50 trade, service, and catering facilities began operating, creating 120 permanent jobs.
In the evening and at night, the street is becoming one of the city’s busiest places thanks to modern infrastructure, bright lighting, and a pedestrian-friendly environment. During the New Year holidays, concert programs are also planned here for Andijan residents and visitors.
The opening of the renovated Mashrab Street is part of efforts to develop the urban environment, aimed at supporting small businesses and boosting tourism activity.
