Shavkat Mirziyoyev'zbekistonliklarni 2026 yil bilan tabrikladi

Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed fellow citizens on the occasion of the coming New Year 2026, summarizing the results of the outgoing year and outlining key tasks for the year ahead. The head of state asked the Creator to protect our Motherland and support our efforts to make people’s lives even more prosperous. This was reported by kursiv.uz.reports.

According to the president, 2025 became a period of large-scale reforms in the country and a time when confidence in the future grew stronger. Despite a complex international environment, the set goals were fully achieved: gross domestic product exceeded $145 billion for the first time, and Uzbekistan further strengthened its position among upper-middle-income countries.

Mirziyoyev noted that the results of economic growth are also being felt in people’s daily lives—family incomes are rising, neighborhoods (mahallas) are developing, and opportunities for young people are expanding. He specifically recognized citizens’ achievements in entrepreneurship, science, culture, and sports, and also emphasized that the number of families improving their housing conditions is increasing.

The head of state recalled that 2026 has been declared in Uzbekistan as the “Year of the Mahalla and the Development of the Whole Society.” Under the plans, infrastructure will be upgraded in thousands of mahallas, the economy will gradually shift to a technological and innovation-driven growth model, incomes and purchasing power will be increased, and the scope of social support will be expanded.

In closing, the president wished Uzbekistanis health, well-being, and peace, expressing confidence that the country will consistently continue along the path of sustainable development. He wished that the new year would bring happiness and abundance to every household, and progress and tranquility to our nation.

It was also noted that earlier the people of Uzbekistan were congratulated on the New Year by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kazakhstan’s leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and other world leaders.
