
During the first nine months of 2025, a total of 404 kilometers of drinking water pipelines were constructed in Uzbekistan, the State Statistics Committee reported.
Of this, 297.9 kilometers were built in rural areas. The largest amount of work was carried out in the Jizzakh region, where 203.1 kilometers of pipelines were installed.
Additionally, 81.5 kilometers of new pipelines were laid in the Fergana region and 64.3 kilometers in Karakalpakstan. Furthermore, 31.4 kilometers of new drinking water pipelines were constructed in the Bukhara region and 17 kilometers in the Kashkadarya region.
