24-year-old Darikka Mur is suspected of killing six people in the USA. The murders took place on January 9th in the Clay County of Mississippi.
According to the investigation, Mur first killed his father, brother, and uncle. Then he drove a truck to another location, where he attempted to commit sexual assault and killed a seven-year-old girl.
According to the sheriff, this is one of the most severe cases he has seen in his 30 years of service. The victims included 67-year-old Glen Mur, 55-year-old Willie Ginz, and 33-year-old Quinton Mur. The next murder occurred on Blake Street, where Mur forcibly entered a house and threatened the life of the young girl.
Afterward, Mur stole his brother’s Ford F-150 and headed to another location, where the bodies of all the victims were found.
Mur is expected to appear in court on January 12th, and the prosecutor has indicated that the death penalty may be requested. The motives behind the crimes are still unclear.
