Rabid elephant rampage in India: 17 people killed

In the Jharkhand state of India, a rabid elephant has claimed at least 17 lives. During an 8-day bloody rampage, the elephant swiftly changed its location and launched numerous attacks. Unlike other animals, the elephant's aggression is attributed to rabies and an increase in reproductive hormones.
The elephant's attacks spread rapidly across the forests of the region, and special security measures were implemented. Over 80 people were mobilized to fight it. Currently, the security environment in both cities and villages is tense, and local residents are fearful of the threat. However, the interaction between the animal's aggression and its powerful masters remains unclear.
This incident is just a small part of the preparations and investigations, with reports of the dangers posed by rabid elephants still circulating.
