The procedure for issuing medical conclusions for organ transplant operations has been approved in Uzbekistan. This document has been registered by the Ministry of Justice.
According to the approved regulations, recipients and donors must undergo a full medical examination over a three-month period. This process includes laboratory tests and immunological examinations.
Permission for organ transplantation is granted solely by the state clinics' medical council. During the doctors' meeting, the necessity of transplantation for the patient and the compatibility of the donor are determined.
If it is established that the surgery may cause significant harm to health, such as loss of vision, hearing, or speech abilities, disruption of mental health, or a loss of more than one-third of work capacity, a medical conclusion for organ transplantation will not be issued.
