In Uzbekistan, starting from 2026, a registry of authorized design organizations permitted to officially inspect the technical condition of multi-story buildings will be launched. This decision was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The registry will be integrated into the "Transparent Construction" system and will subsequently serve as a primary tool for implementing quality control. Additionally, the practice of issuing advisory conclusions will be abolished in the country.
Multi-story buildings will only be accepted for use if a positive conclusion is obtained. The decision also strengthens the responsibility of construction organizations to comply with earthquake resistance requirements and introduces strict mechanisms for detecting illegal constructions.
