The volume of insurance services in Uzbekistan amounted to 10 trillion soums during the first ten months of 2025, according to a report from the National Statistics Committee. This figure represents an increase of 2.6 trillion soums compared to the previous year.
Uzbek citizens primarily prefer to insure their vehicles, property, and health against accidents. These categories account for 81.5% of the total insurance market.
In contrast, life insurance remains less in demand, making up only 4.3% of the market. The remaining 14.2% is attributed to reinsurance services.
