
The Embassy of Uzbekistan held talks with the participation of Odil Koysinov, Vice-Rector of the Nordic International University in Tashkent, and Zilola Yulchieva, Head of the Uzbek National Center in Sweden, on the implementation of the project for teaching in the Uzbek language in Scandinavian countries.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek National Cultural Center in Sweden have jointly developed a project for teaching the Uzbek language to children of compatriots living in Scandinavian countries.
The Nordic International University in Tashkent expressed its desire to support this project. In particular, at the initial stage, an online school in the Uzbek language will be organized in accordance with state educational standards for children of compatriots in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
– Our initiative is an example of public-private partnership, that is, both our embassy in Stockholm, our Cultural Center, and the Nordic International University in Tashkent are actively involved in the development of this important project. Currently, we are conducting a survey on our website with parents of children on how to conduct an online school. It is planned to open an online school on the basis of the Cultural Center with the participation of the Nordic International University. Today we discussed various aspects of the upcoming project with experienced teachers of this university, - said the head of the Uzbek National Center in Sweden, Zilola Yulchiyeva.
On behalf of the Nordic International University in Tashkent, textbooks and fiction books were presented for the library fund being created at the Uzbek National Cultural Center in Sweden.
