Famous Mexican boxing legend Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has expressed full confidence in Ukrainian Alexander Usyk’s victory in his upcoming fight, deciding to place a large bet.

According to him, he has wagered half a million dollars — that is, $500,000 — on the Ukrainian champion’s triumph in the Usyk–Dubois rematch, which will take place on July 19 at the historic Wembley Stadium in London.

“In the past five years, Usyk has defeated the strongest opponents in the world. He is physically tough, technically skilled, and knows how to use his intelligence in the ring. I fully believe in him. That’s why I wasn’t afraid to place this bet. Alexander, don’t forget who you are!” Canelo wrote on his social media page.
