Nigerian chef Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record twice. She runs a restaurant in Lagos, offers cooking classes, and provides a personal chef service.
Baci first drew attention in 2023 with a nonstop cooking marathon lasting 93 hours and 11 minutes. This month, she broke the Guinness record again by cooking over 8.7 tonnes of Jollof rice in one giant pot.
Her success is no accident. Baci has planned to grow her brand and hopes to open restaurants around the world. Her goal is to make Nigerian cuisine famous globally. She also wants to introduce her coconut rice recipe to the world.
