Using Instagram without ads will be paid

Meta is launching a paid subscription system for Facebook and Instagram users in the United Kingdom. Now users will be able to use social networks without ads by paying about 3 dollars per month.

The company stated that users may allow or restrict their data to be used for advertising purposes. This will allow people to have more control over their personal data. Also, the possibility to use the service for free based on ads will remain.

Such a service has already been launched in Europe, where it costs around 6 dollars per month. In the United Kingdom, the price is lower, set at 4 dollars in the mobile app.

Experts have positively evaluated this decision, noting that users will have more control over the use of their personal data.
