The astonishing event that occurred in China stunned everyone. The 48-year-old woman accidentally fell into an abandoned deep well and survived for 54 hours among snakes and mosquitoes. This was reported by the South China Morning Post.
The incident occurred on September 13 in a forest area near the city of Guangzhou, Fujian Province. The woman accidentally fell into the well during a walk. His family searched all night, but there was no result. Therefore, on September 14, it was officially reported that he was missing.
Emergency rescue operations began on September 15. After the woman's son contacted special services, a group of 10 people equipped with a drone began the search. According to team leader Du Xiaoxang, around 1:45 PM, they heard a faint scream and, continuing their search along the direction of the sound, found a well hidden in the bushes.
The woman herself recounted the terrible moments she experienced:
Rescuers found the woman clinging tightly to the well walls. He was immediately taken to Jingjiang Hospital and then transferred to Guangzhou First Hospital.
According to the doctors' diagnosis, the woman had broken both ribs, and a small tumor was found in her lung. Also, due to prolonged clinging to the well wall, severe wounds and injuries appeared on his hands. Doctors note that his condition is stable and he is expected to fully recover within a few days.
