Rockstar Games has released official information about the game Grand Theft Auto 6. According to their announcement, the game will be released on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
PC users, however, will have to wait a bit longer. There are currently speculations about the game’s price, and it is expected to be one of the most expensive games in history.
Rockstar promises that the price will be justified, considering the game's scale and quality. Pre-orders for the game will begin in February 2026, which will allow players to get exclusive content and bonus missions.
GTA 6 will take place in Vice City, but this time, the map will be larger, more lifelike, and more detailed. The city is expected to feature various interiors, new areas, and a vibrant environment.
This time, for the first time, the game will feature a female protagonist, Lucia Kaminos. Along with her, a partner named Jason will also be one of the main characters in the game.
The love and crime-based relationship between Lucia and Jason will form the main storyline of the game. A new system called the "love index" will affect their interactions, shaping missions and dialogues.
A number of other characters, including Raul Bautista, Cal Hampton, Bryan Heather, Bubi Ike, and Dre'kuan Prist, will also play important roles in the story. Each character's unique story and motivation will deepen the game world even further.
