TBC Bank climbed 18 spots in The Banker rankings, securing 51st place among banks in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In Uzbekistan, the bank ranked 14th based on its Tier 1 capital indicator.
The Banker evaluates banks in the region annually based on Tier 1 capital and eight additional criteria, including stability, profitability, and efficiency. The updated evaluation model incorporates a broader dataset, enabling more precise comparisons among banks.
Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, emphasized that the bank’s inclusion in the CIS’s leading banks list reflects the success of the company’s digital banking ecosystem in Uzbekistan. By 2025, TBC Uzbekistan expanded its customer base to 22 million registered users and continued to grow its loan and deposit portfolios.
