The matches of the 18th round of the French championship once again lifted the spirits of the fans: the competition in the tournament table intensified, some teams moved closer to the top positions, while others missed out on points.
One of the most popular games took place in Lyon. Lyon defeated Brest 2-1 at home, significantly improving their position in the table. With this victory, Lyon moved up to 4th place with 33 points. Brest remain in 10th place with 22 points.
Real Madrid's loan striker, Endrick, also stood out for the hosts: he made a useful move in his team's attack, registering an assist. This served as a signal that further strengthened Lyon's confidence in the attack.

There was enough intrigue in other matches of the round as well. Strasbourg secured the crucial three points by defeating Mes 2-1 at home. As a result, Strasbourg sits in 7th place with 27 points. In short, the 18th round in French Ligue 1 wasn't a "simple round": some made it to the top four, some earned important points, and some couldn't find the result they needed.
