For the commission of the specified offenses, penalty points are accrued against the driver of the vehicle in addition to the main penalty provided for in these offenses.
The new law introduced amendments to the Code of Administrative Responsibility.
According to them, administrative liability is established for the following:
🔹Imposition of administrative penalties for exceeding the established amount of penalty points accrued for traffic violations. Here:
➖For the commission of the specified offenses, penalty points are calculated against the driver of the vehicle in addition to the main penalty provided for in these offenses. The maximum amount of penalty points calculated for each offense committed should not exceed 2 points;
➖Penal points are calculated for one year from the date of the first commission of one of the specified offenses. Penalty points calculated for the offenses provided for in the first part of this article are automatically removed from the driver of the vehicle after one year;
➖In cases where the calculated penalty points exceed 12 points within a year, the driver is deprived of the right to drive vehicles as an additional penalty in accordance with the procedure established for the last offense committed. It is determined that the period of deprivation of such rights should not be less than 6 months.
🔹For violation of safety rules when using vehicles running on compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas or a mixture of diesel and liquefied petroleum gas;
🔹For violation of the rules for transporting people in vehicles;
🔹For violation of the rules for overtaking vehicles;
🔹For road trespassing;
🔹For distortion and distribution of photo and (or) video images of law enforcement officers in a way that leads to their discredit.
