On October 31, 2025, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice held an entrepreneur accountable for the illegal use of the PUMA brand, which belongs to Germany’s Puma SE company. According to the Ministry’s decision, a fine in the amount of 41 million soums was imposed.
During the inspection, it was found that the entrepreneur had produced and sold counterfeit products under the PUMA trademark. Following the dispute, the Ministry of Justice ordered the entrepreneur to cease using another party’s brand and to pay a fine calculated at 100 baseline units (41.2 million soums).
The Ministry reminded entrepreneurs to register their own trademarks and to report cases of illegal use of brands via the hotline 1008 or the email info@adliya.uz. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
