According to the press service of the Syrdarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs, the illegal circulation of narcotic substances was prevented. As part of the "Qora dori-2025" preventive operation, law enforcement agencies conducted a swift operation.
During the operation, the house of a citizen of Guliston district, born in 1974, was inspected. According to the information, this individual had not previously been held criminally liable.
During the inspection, jars with an 8-liter capacity and 2 plastic bags containing marijuana were found in the residence. In total, 2.5 kg of narcotics were identified and seized.
Additionally, several jars containing drying cannabis plants were found. A preliminary investigation is currently underway regarding this matter.
Law enforcement agencies must determine the purpose for which such a large quantity of narcotics was kept. Based on this, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of the citizen.
