
In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, another important personnel change has been implemented in the internal affairs system. According to the document signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, two high-ranking officials have been dismissed from their positions, President.uz reports.
According to the decree, Bekmurod Tojimirzayevich Abdullayev has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Head of the Public Security Department. For several years, he worked in the internal affairs system, ensuring public order and implementing security measures.
Also, by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rustam Rakhmonovich Tursunov was relieved of his duties. In recent years, he worked as the head of the Department for the Execution of Punishments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Under Tursunov's leadership, reforms were carried out in the penitentiary system, and a number of measures were taken to make the activities of institutions transparent and protect the rights of citizens.
Official information about who will be appointed to these positions has not yet been released. However, according to sources, the process of updating personnel policy is consistently continuing in order to increase the effectiveness of activities and introduce modern management methods in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
For information, some time ago, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation of proposals developed to protect the nation's gene pool from drug addiction, effectively combat cybercrime, and digitize prosecutorial oversight. The Head of State analyzed the systemic problems in these areas and set a number of new tasks for law enforcement agencies.
As the President noted, the role of internal affairs bodies in ensuring the safety of citizens, preventing offenses, and combating crime is crucial. Therefore, the activities of responsible managers in this area are constantly analyzed, and based on the results, changes are made to the personnel policy.
Officials noted that after the appointment of new leaders, additional measures will be taken to increase the personnel potential of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ensure public safety, and improve the quality of work in the field of penal enforcement.
