A very sad tragedy occurred in the city of Andijan. According to information circulating on social networks, a group of employees at Secondary School No. 36 suffered severe poisoning after consuming alcohol. The city Department of Preschool and School Education officially commented on this.
According to the information, the incident occurred on October 22 of this year around 17:00. After classes, the school's housekeeping officer, the foreign language teacher, the security guard, and one teacher were present at the evening meal. At that time, they consumed technical alcohol and suffered severe poisoning.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, two people - the deputy director of the school and a security guard - died as a result of the tragedy. The remaining two citizens were sent for medical assistance, and their condition is being examined.
According to the city education department, the acting school principal F.R. (a woman) returned home after work that day and was not at school at the time of the incident. It was reported that he did not participate in these processes at the time of the tragic incident.
Currently, relevant law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into this situation. The possible causes, the origin of the alcohol, and how it entered the school premises are being investigated.
Officials emphasized that such situations in educational institutions are absolutely unacceptable. Currently, the issue of compliance with labor discipline, safety, and internal regulations in all schools is being reviewed.
This event caused serious concern among the public and reminded them of the importance of responsibility in educational institutions.
