UzAuto Motors announced plans to start producing the updated version of the Chevrolet Damas model. This car was presented for the first time at the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition.
The updated model is equipped with a 1.5-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 103 horsepower. The vehicle's load-carrying capacity is 720 kilograms, and the cargo space volume is 3.1 cubic meters.
This makes it a convenient option for food delivery, service industries, and small logistics companies. The model’s wheelbase is 2850 mm and its total length is 4425 mm, which makes it easy to maneuver in narrow streets.
Despite its compact dimensions, the cabin is spacious and functional: it features ergonomic design, comfortable steering, and a practical instrument panel. On October 13, the company announced the launch of production of the new Chevrolet Damas lineup.
The updated minivans are even more compact, fuel-efficient, and capacious, remaining suitable for daily use and commercial purposes. The new generation Damas stands out with its larger dimensions, increased load capacity, and expanded interior space.
Additionally, comfort for both the driver and passengers has been significantly improved. The model is offered in two versions, and the new generation vehicle will be manufactured alongside the current version.
This gives customers the option to choose between the classic model and the new car equipped with modern technologies. So far, there is no information on prices or technical specifications for the version intended for the Uzbekistan market.
