Saida Mirziyoyeva visited Samarkand

Saida Mirziyoyeva shared her impressions from her trip around Samarkand on her official Telegram channel. According to the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as a result of large-scale restoration work and updated new exhibitions, the monuments in Samarkand have been given new life.

“The Mausoleum of Amir Temur, Ulugbek and Tillakori madrasahs, and Registan Square have acquired a new spirit, while carefully preserving the authentic traces of their era," Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized. She also got acquainted with hundreds of unique exhibits, including Mirzo Ulugbek’s manuscripts and various historical archival documents.

It was noted that the archival documents dedicated to the history of Amir Temur are now being presented in a multimedia format, which is especially noteworthy. “This place is a center of strength and inspiration,” Saida Mirziyoyeva concluded.

It has been reported that in the coming days, guests of the UNESCO General Conference will have the opportunity to visit and appreciate ancient Samarkand.
