Visa-free regime will be introduced for US citizens


President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree introducing a visa-free regime for US citizens. This measure is aimed at further deepening bilateral relations and will come into effect at the beginning of next year.

According to the document signed on November 3, 2023, starting from January 1, 2026, US citizens will have the opportunity to stay in Uzbekistan for up to 30 days without a visa. This important decision is part of Uzbekistan's strategy to liberalize the visa regime and to simplify conditions for foreign tourists and entrepreneurs.
