WHO Presented a Mural Dedicated to Uzbek Mother and Child

The World Health Organization (WHO) has presented a mural titled "Health of the Future." This mural, dedicated to an Uzbek mother and child, had its opening ceremony on November 7.

This mural is located on the wall of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center for the Protection of Mother and Child Health in Tashkent. The ceremony was held as part of the conclusion of WHO's "A Healthy Start to Life – The Key to a Prosperous Future" campaign.

This mural was created with the purpose of promoting a healthy lifestyle among mothers. "Protecting the health of mothers and children is not only the responsibility of medical institutions, but also a top priority for the whole country and society," said Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Health, Elmira Basitkhanova.
