Uzbek citizens staying in Kazakhstan or transiting through the country have been advised to be extra vigilant on the roads. According to the Tashkent City Transport Department, amid a sharp drop in temperatures, snowstorms and icy conditions have intensified, leading to more traffic accidents. It is noted that the most serious crashes most often involve unlicensed vehicles and cars with technical faults. Therefore, citizens were asked not to use illegal taxi services and, whenever possible, to choose trains or flights.
