
The first Burger King restaurants in Uzbekistan are set to open within the next one and a half months. This was announced by Shuxrat Ergashev, the founder of International Beverages Tashkent, on Uzbekistan 24 TV channel.
According to Ergashev, the company studies the presence of competitors, including brands such as McDonald’s, before entering a new market. It is estimated that the initial restaurants will begin operations in one and a half months, and the number of outlets will expand across the entire country over time.
Burger King is a global fast-food chain established in 1954 in the state of Florida, USA. It is managed by Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI).
In 2024, the company's global sales volume increased by 5.4 percent.
