Night Raids Against Air Polluters

In accordance with the directives of the Minister of Ecology and the Deputy Prosecutor General, special groups are actively working in various regions to monitor air quality. This was reported by the capital’s ecology committee.

Inspectors are identifying industrial enterprises and sources that significantly affect air quality during nighttime. On November 17, an inspection was conducted in the “Boston” neighborhood of the Zangiota district.

As of 5:00 PM on November 18, air quality in Tashkent was assessed as unhealthy for sensitive groups with an AQI index of 115. The primary pollutant was noted to be PM2.5 particles, with their concentration recorded at 41.0 µg/m³.
