
The U.S. Department of the Treasury has imposed secondary sanctions on Uzbekistan's company, Datavice LLC. The department suspects the company of having connections with Russia's Aeza Group.
In early July of this year, Washington blacklisted Aeza Group. This company provides IT services.
According to U.S. officials, Aeza Group offers hosting services to cybercriminals for attacks targeting victims in the U.S. and other countries. Additionally, the U.S. Department of the Treasury accuses the company of involvement in creating ransomware known as BianLian.
According to the Unified State Register, Datavice was established in Tashkent in July 2023. The company operates in the field of data processing services.
Its charter capital amounts to 24 million soums. The company's director and founder is Maksim Makarov.
