Shavkat Mirziyoyev Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov


The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has expressed his deep condolences on the passing of renowned director and television host Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov. He passed away on November 19 at the age of 84.

Mirabbos Mirzaakhmedov was born on September 30, 1941, in Tashkent. After completing school, he enrolled at the Tashkent Institute of Theatre and Arts, where he studied acting for cinema and theater.

He began his career as an assistant director at the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan and later worked in television for over 60 years. Mirzaakhmedov served as a director for the "Youth" editorial office and the "Uzbekistan" television channel, and was widely known as the creator and host of the program "Otalar So'zi – Aqlning Ko'zi" (Fathers' Words – The Eyes of Wisdom) for many years.

During his tenure, dozens of television programs and films were produced, including "Bahor Qaytmaydi" (Spring Will Not Return), "Izlayman" (I Am Searching), and "Qalbingga Quloq Sol" (Listen to Your Heart), which became an integral part of Uzbekistan's cultural history. Throughout his career, Mirzaakhmedov was awarded the title of "Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan," as well as the "Mehnat Shuhrati" (Labor Glory) and "Do'stlik" (Friendship) orders.
