Starting from 12:00 PM, the Qamchiq Pass, which connects Tashkent Region with the Fergana Valley, has been reopened for vehicle traffic. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.
Traffic restrictions had been imposed at 2:30 AM due to the risk of avalanches and heavy snowfall. The decision was made to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers.
Prior to this, six mobile Road Patrol Service posts were operational in Tashkent Region to monitor compliance with Qamchiq Pass transit restrictions.
