In Uzbekistan, the operations of automotive gas filling stations have been temporarily restricted. This is due to a gas shortage caused by issues in a neighboring country.
The situation was addressed by the Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov. According to the minister, approximately 6 million cubic meters of gas are not being supplied to the system daily as a result of an accident.
The restrictions are being implemented primarily to ensure gas supply for households, social facilities, and thermal power plants, especially during peak hours.
The most challenging situation is being observed in the Fergana Valley, where pressure is being maintained at the lowest levels.
To resolve the issue, unused capacities within the gas infrastructure of the neighboring country are being utilized.
