Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Warsaw ensured the return home of a compatriot who had been stranded in Poland, the Dunyo news agency reported. This was reported by kursiv.uzreports.

According to the information, an Uzbek citizen sought help from the diplomatic mission due to severe financial hardship. Embassy staff accepted his application and provided temporary accommodation.

With the support of the International Organization for Migration, an airline ticket was issued for the citizen and his return to Uzbekistan was arranged.
