Tashkent cadastral officer caught taking a $5,000 bribe

In Tashkent, a cadastral officer who demanded money to process house documents was detained. The State Security Service reported this.

It is reported that an employee of the Bostanliq district branch of the Tashkent Region Department of the State Cadastral Chamber demanded $5,000 in exchange for arranging cadastral documents for a house on an 8-sotka land plot in the district through acquaintances holding senior positions.

During an оператив operation, the cadastral officer was caught with material evidence at the moment he received the requested cash.

A criminal case has been opened against him under several articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are underway.
