Uzbekistanis spent 34.2 trillion soums on education in 11 months

In January–November 2025, the amount of funds allocated to education services in Uzbekistan reached 34.2 trillion soums. According to the National Statistics Committee, this figure increased by 8.8% compared to the same period last year.

As usual, the largest share of the education market fell to the capital: in Tashkent, the volume of education services totaled 16.6 trillion soums, nearly seven times higher than in many regions.

By region, Samarkand and Fergana led the way with 2.5 trillion and 2.2 trillion soums, respectively. The lowest volumes were recorded in Syrdarya (343.7 billion soums), Navoi (438.5 billion soums), and Jizzakh (532.3 billion soums).
